The Jr. Hornets are proud members of the Texas Youth Football Association (TYFA).  Our football program competes in TYFA in both the Fall and Spring seasons.  TYFA is a non-weight restricted competitive league that provides football to children in various age groups. 

 

As a member of TYFA the Jr. Hornets compete in the following brackets based on the child’s age as of August 1st of the current year...

 

Flag - Ages 5 & 6 year olds

Midget - 6 & 7 year olds

Rookie - 8 & 9 year olds

Juniors -  10 & 11 year olds

Seniors - 12 & 13 year olds

 

Flag registration is $85 and at this time is only offered during the fall season

 

For tackle football we offer 3 option packages for parents based on their commitment to the organization.

 

Package 1 - Fall Season Only - $150

Package 2 - Spring Season Only - $130 

Package 3 - (only offered prior to Spring of the current year) only offered for Midget, Rookie, and Junior tackle Divisions. Signup for Spring & Fall at one time for only $195 and you save $85 in registration costs which is less than $100 a season.

 

The Jr. Hornets provide helmets, shoulder pads, 7pc pad set and game uniforms.
