IN JULY

 

July 8, 2010 - Final Uniform & Equipment Sizing

             Location: Pizza Hut, 110 S WW White Rd (Click Here for Map)

             Time: Football Players 6pm-8pm, Cheerleaders 6:30pm-8pm

             Event Description: Sizing of game and cheer uniforms and football equipment as              well as collecting registrations, deposits and payments.

 

 

July 12, 2010 - Start of Optional Training Activities (OTAs)

             Date: Monday - Thursday Starting July 12th

             Location: Jubilee Academic Center , 4363 Chandler Rd (Click Here for Map)

             Time: 6:30pm-8pm

             Event Description: We will be having OTAs for specific skills sets.

            

OTA events will only be open to fall registered players and details will follow very soon. 

 

July 18, 2010 - Staff & Volunteer meeting

             Location: Pizza Hut, 110 S WW White Rd (Click Here for Map)

             Time: 2pm-4pm

             Event Description: Meet and greet fellow volunteers, Jr. Hornets board and staff              members.   If you would like to be a volunteer coach or staff please come to this              event.

 

July 25, 2010 - Parent & Jr. Hornets Organization Fall Football Meeting

             Location: Southside Lions Community Center, 3100 Hiawatha, (Click Here for Map)

             Time: 2:30pm-4pm

             Event Description: At this event we will be introducing our Jr. Hornets Volunteer              Staff, team coaches and reviewing expectations for you as a parent as well as us as              an organization.  We will provide information on practice locations, player &

             cheerleader certification details.

 

July 26, 2010 - First day of mandatory practice

             Location: Jubilee Academic Center , 4363 Chandler Rd (Click Here for Map)

             Time: 6:30pm-8:15pm

            

July 31, 2010 - Full registration payment is due and we will be conducting equipment handout

 

IN AUGUST

 

August 21, 2010 - Player & Cheerleader Certification (Attendance is Mandatory)

             Location: Schertz Civic Center,

                             1400 Schertz Parkway, Shertz, TX (Click Here for Map)

             Arrival Time:1pm

             Even Description: This will be TYFA’s player and cheerleader certification.  The              certification process does take a bit of time so be prepared to wait. Attendance is              mandatory as each child must be certified in order to participate in the Fall 2010              Football & Cheer season.
